An update from the VFF UDV

We wish to advise that VFF UDV President Bernie Free has decided to temporarily step back from his role as VFF UDV President for an initial period of two months to focus on his rehabilitation and recovery from an accident.

Bernie remains deeply committed to the VFF UDV and intends to return to the role when his health allows.

He will review his readiness to return at the end of the initial two-month period. We wish Bernie all the best in his continued recovery.

During Bernie’s absence, Mark Billing will serve as Acting President of the VFF UDV. This arrangement has the full support of VFF President Ryan Milgate and the VFF Board.

A message from VFF UDV Acting President, Mark Billing

“On behalf of the Policy Council, I would like to wish Bernie a speedy and full recovery. Bernie has provided outstanding leadership to the VFF UDV, and we all look forward to welcoming him back as President when he is ready.”

“I am honoured to serve as VFF UDV Acting President during this period. I look forward to working closely with the Policy Council to continue the important work Bernie has led and with our members to ensure the VFF UDV remains a strong and effective voice for Victorian dairy farmers.”
