Following the Victorian National Party pre-selection process, VFF President Brett Hosking has been endorsed as the candidate for the seat of Murray Plains. In accordance with clause 26.1.1 of the VFF Constitution, Brett is required to step aside from his duties as President until the date of the relevant poll.
Consistent with this requirement, the VFF Board has resolved that Vice-President Peter Star will assume the responsibilities of President in an acting capacity. This arrangement is effective immediately will remain in place until the conclusion of the current term on 2 June 2026, coinciding with the 2026 VFF Conference.
From this date, Ryan Milgate will officially begin his role as VFF President. We encourage you to secure your tickets to the Conference to farewell those passing the baton and welcome all new incoming office bearers.
It is business as usual here at the VFF and we remain firmly focused on representing and advocating for our members across Victoria.
