Farmers, industry leaders and regional stakeholders from across Victoria are set to converge in Ballarat this June, with tickets now officially on sale for the 2026 VFF Conference.
The event will take place on Monday 1 and Tuesday 2 June 2026 at the Goods Shed, bringing together voices from across the agricultural sector to discuss the future of farming, policy, and innovation.
VFF President Brett Hosking said the event will set the tone for a critical remainder of the year.
“This is the premier agriculture event of the year and an unmissable chance to join fellow farmers, industry leaders and leading agricultural figures to delve into the issues facing the sector.”
“As we get ready to head to the polls later this year, our industry is facing increasing pressure from rising costs amidst the fuel and fertiliser crisis and the ongoing battle to protect our farmland. This is our chance to get together as an industry and nail our message,” Mr Hosking said.
The event provides a platform for farmers to connect, collaborate and contribute to shaping the direction of the industry. Attendees will hear from leading experts, policymakers and innovators, with a program designed to tackle key challenges and opportunities facing regional communities.
Panel discussions will focus on:
- Protecting farmland;
- Trade and market updates;
- Regional and community infrastructure; and
- Tech and innovation in ag.
Incoming VFF President Ryan Milgate and VFF Vice- President Scott Young will officially begin their tenures at the event.
Early-bird ticket options are on sale now until 30 April 2026, including a Young Farmer special (for those aged 35 and under) at just $100, generously subsidised by Nutrien Ag Solutions.
The program for young farmers includes dinner, drinks, the full conference day where you’ll hear from leading industry experts, and an exclusive breakfast with Tony Hunter, Food Futurist, and Dayle Stevens, a Telstra AI Executive at the Provincial Hotel. Places are limited to just 50 young farmers.
