VFF CEO and Returning Officer Charlie Thomas encouraged those interested to nominate and represent the Victorian agriculture industry during a crucial upcoming period.

“It’s an exciting time to be part of the VFF. Our membership is growing, we’re focussed on serving members, and we’re delivering tangible outcomes.”

“With a state election looming and critical issues on the table, we need leaders who are ready to drive us forward. If you’re passionate about keeping our industry productive, sustainable and globally competitive, I encourage you to throw your hat in the ring.”

“To nominate and subsequently vote, you must be a VFF financial member and have full voting rights. Please double check you’re eligible or contact the VFF team to ensure you can have your say,” Mr Thomas said.

Nominations are now open and will close at 5pm on Tuesday 31 March 2026. An election will be announced should a role receive more than one nomination.

Regardless of whether an election is held or not, the successful candidates will be announced at the upcoming 2026 VFF Conference in Ballarat on Tuesday 2 June 2026.

The current VFF President, VFF Vice-President and VFF UDV Vice-President are eligible to nominate again for their respective roles as their terms have not reached the maximum four-year limit.

Eligible VFF voting members should have received more information via their emails. Please contact the VFF team on 1300 882 833 if you need assistance or have any questions.
