The VFF Horticulture Council has requested the VFF Returning Officer to call for nominations for the 2023 Horticulture Group Elections.
Nominations are now open to fill vacancies for the following positions for a 2 year period:
- President
- Vice-President
- Regional Representative – Northern
- Regional Representative – Western
- Regional Representative – Mallee-Sunraysia
- Regional Representative – Central
- Regional Representative – Gippsland
The VFF Constitution requires three (3) financial members of the VFF Horticulture Group as nominators for President or Vice President. The VFF Constitution requires two (2) financial members of the VFF Horticulture Group as nominators for Councillors.
All financial members of the VFF Horticulture Group are eligible to nominate for office and support a nomination for office. An election for a position will be held if more than one (1) nomination is received for that role. Members should refer to the Horticulture Group region map for the region they are eligible to stand and vote in.
It is strongly recommended that nominations be provided early to allow time to ensure verification of the membership status of the nominators or other issues affecting the validity of the nomination.
Nominations MUST be lodged with the Returning Officer of the Victorian Farmers Federation, [email protected] NO LATER THAN 5:00pm, Tuesday 6 June 2023.
