The Victorian Farmers Federation’s (VFF) Grains Group Annual Pre-harvest Roadshow will be held online this year to comply with current COVID-19 restrictions.
VFF Grains Group President Ashley Fraser said despite these events taking place online due to the challenges faced during the current pandemic, growers can still expect the same access to critical information before this year’s harvest.
“These extraordinary times call for innovative solutions to get information out to farmers.”
“With the current restrictions and advice prohibiting face to face meetings, we’ve decided to hold a series of online webinars to ensure growers still have access to the information they need to prepare for a successful harvest.”
“This year’s harvest is shaping to be an unusual one as growers will need to adjust to the challenges posed by COVID-19. I’d encourage all grain growers to register for some invaluable advice and tips for the upcoming season.”
“There is no better opportunity for grain producers to hear directly from leading industry figures such as NHVR and GrainCorp”, Mr Fraser said.
This year’s online Annual Pre-harvest Roadshow will consist of six webinars each discussing key topics and will begin on August 19 focussing on how to best market stored grain presented by Agridigital.
