Nominations are now open for the VFF’s Farm Business and Transport Committee. The Committee was formed following the merger of the Farm Business and Transport and Infrastructure Committees earlier this year and is critical to informing the VFF’s advocacy on a number of key issues.
A total of five positions are available to support the Chair and help guide the Committee’s work program over the coming year.

The Farm Business and Transport Committee examines and advocates for farmers in areas such as:
- Local government rates
- Taxation (both Commonwealth and State)
- Drought
- Freight and transport networks
- Competition and consumer affairs
- Farm crime
