Dunkeld farmer takes out top Landcare VFF Award

What a pleasure it was to be at this recent Landcare Victoria awards.

Congratulations to all award recipients, including Dunkeld’s Lisa McIntyre who took out the Victorian Farmers Federation Memorial Award.

Former VFF President Heather Mitchell co-founded the Landcare Australia initiative with then Victorian Premier Joan Kirner in 1986. Since then, it’s played a critical role in preserving our rich and diverse Victorian landscapes, supporting productive farming, healthy ecosystems and thriving communities.

Pictured at the awards event from left to right is Hugh Mitchell (Heather’s son), Lisa McIntyre, Landcare Victoria CEO Claire Hetzel, VFF President Emma Germano and Landcare Victoria Chair Jane Carney.
